Now we’re looking for a strong backend developer to join us — someone who writes clean code, loves solving tricky problems, and thrives in a startup that’s still figuring things out while moving forward fast.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain a highly scalable backend for our IoT platform

• Work on a fully serverless event-driven stack: AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge

• Contribute to product logic like SIM provisioning, network diagnostics, billing, and internal tools

• Collaborate directly with the CTO and help shape how we plan, prioritize, and ship

• Troubleshoot and improve platform performance, observability, and automation

• Push code that matters — used by real customers, real devices, in real time

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years of backend development experience

• Solid Python skills and pride in writing clean, production-ready code

• Strong experience with AWS. Especially Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, EventBridge and related services

• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and DevOps best practices

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset — you spot things, take initiative, and follow through

• You thrive in a fast-moving environment and want to build things that work

• EU work authorization (unfortunately, we can’t sponsor visas at the moment)

Nice to Have (but not essential)

• Familiarity with telecom protocols (RADIUS, IPAM, roaming technologies).

• Ideas for how we can organize work better — we have a roadmap, but executing it well is still a work in progress

• An interest in connectivity, networks, or large-scale IoT systems

We’re a lean team with lots of ownership and freedom. The CTO is still hands-on, but we’d love someone who can take initiative and help the team get more structured and scalable over time.

We work mostly from our office in Amsterdam, and we like it that way — quick problem-solving, spontaneous chats, a tight team feel. Working from home is fine when needed, but we prefer people who like being around teammates at the office most days.

Our Hiring Process

We believe in keeping things fast, fair, and transparent. Here’s what to expect:

1. Introductory Call (45 min)

You’ll meet Vivi, our Talent & People Lead. We’ll discuss your background, motivations, and what you’re looking for in your next role.

2. Technical Assessment (90 min)

A hands-on online test that covers coding, system thinking, and problem-solving. It’s not about trick questions — we care about how you work and think.

3. Final Interview (90 min)

A deep-dive with the CTO and the tech team. You’ll walk us through technical or architectural decisions you’ve made in the past and test-drive our product beforehand (we’ll send you a SIM and credits). We expect you to give feedback and insights based on your experience.
